Electric Motor Power 3

July 7, 2008

This program uses two sliders for input and one for output. When a slider is selected a mouse or the cursor keys and the page keys can be used to change the value. The keys can be more accurate than the mouse. The tab key will move between fields.

Drag the motor speed slider to the RPMs the unloaded motor spins at 12 volts. There are four ranges to select from up to 240,000 RPM.

Set the torque slider to the maximum force the motor produces at 12 volts. The range is from 0 to 640 g/cm. Use the combo box below the trackbar to select a unit of measure.

The power output, in watts, will be displayed in the third column.

Enjoy!
